Senator Richard F. Colburn Announces his 34th Annual Banquet

On Saturday, October 6, 2012, the Citizens for Colburn Committee will be hosting the 34th Annual Fall Banquet at the Cambridge American Legion Post 91. Festivities will begin at 5:30 PM with a cash bar. Dinner will follow at 6:30 PM. The event will give us an opportunity to hear about the issues surrounding the upcoming Presidential Election as well as the 2013 General Assembly Session.

This year we will feature two guest speakers, Maryland State Senate Minority Leader E.J. Pipkin (R-Upper Shore) and 2012 United States Senate Candidate Dan Bongino. Senator Colburn will provide some brief remarks as well.

Senator Pipkin is one of the Maryland General Assembly’s distinguished members, currently serving as the Senate Minority Leader. A well-known leader in vital Maryland issues such as energy, the environment, fiscal responsibility, and government accountability, Senator Pipkin has earned the respect from both sides of the aisle as an independent thinker who works for what is best for the State of Maryland. Senator Pipkin represents the 36th district of Maryland which includes Caroline, Cecil, Kent, and Queen Anne’s Counties. He serves on the Finance Committee, and the Joint Committee on Welfare Reform.

Dan Bongino, a devoted husband and father, served in the United States Secret Service for more than a decade, in which he was assigned to the elite Presidential Protective Division. He represented the U.S. as a lead government security official in over 25 countries. Holding graduate degrees in Business Administration and Psychology, Dan has gone on to start several successful businesses in Maryland. As an entrepreneur, he understands the role small businesses play in establishing a framework for continued prosperity and economic growth.

The seats for this year's banquet are $50.00 per person. Tickets will not be issued; however, your reservation and nametag will be at the door.
